What base expansion changes
The starter ranch has limited working capacity. Expanding adds usable animal space, makes the ranch visually larger and lets more of your strongest companions generate Cash. Animals roam within the fenced area, so the economy remains visible instead of becoming a hidden number.
Capacity versus equipped slots
Equipped slots decide how many animals contribute Power to training. Base capacity decides how many owned animals produce ranch income. They solve different problems: buy slots when Strength is slow; expand the base when valuable animals are sitting outside the income roster.
When to expand
- You own more productive animals than the current ranch can use.
- The added Cash per second will repay the expansion before your next major target.
- A wall is already reachable but the following egg or shop upgrade is Cash-limited.
- You want offline rewards to start from a stronger safe income rate.
The value of an expansion is the income of the best animal that cannot currently work. If that animal is weak, a training or Cash upgrade may pay back sooner.
Use the physical shop
Walk to the Boost Barn in the plaza and interact with it. The shop sells training, Cash, movement speed, animal slots, luck, discounts, nursery speed and base expansion. Compare the previewed cost with your visible ranch rate before buying.
A productive ranch loop
- Return from a successful egg raid.
- Start incubation at the base.
- Inspect roaming animals and current Cash per second.
- Visit the Barn if an expansion or nursery upgrade has a clear payoff.
- Train while the timer runs, then claim and reassess the roster.
Make growth visible
Open Pets to compare each animal’s portrait, level, role, income and lifetime earnings. Higher evolution stages change both the portrait and the 3D companion. Use the animal tier framework to decide which new worker deserves ranch space, then read the offline income guide before closing the game.
