How to get an egg
Train until you can break the current Nest Wall, enter the portal, avoid the zone Guardian and interact with the nest. Picking up an egg changes the objective: you must escape and physically return it to your ranch. If the boss catches you before the portal, the run ends and the egg is lost.
Why Nest Tiers matter
Breaking a wall does not finish a zone forever. The barrier rebuilds as a stronger tier. Each completed tier opens a better version of that zone's egg, improves its rare-pet chances and awards permanent gene power. This makes an older zone useful even after a later gate opens.
Incubation timers
Base zone times range from roughly 8 to 24 seconds, with three extra seconds for each Nest Tier. The timer continues while the page is closed. Place the stolen egg in your incubator, keep training or managing pets, then return when the ready indicator appears.

Start incubation before a long training session. The countdown runs independently, so empty incubator time is lost progression.
Rarity and pity
The hatch panel shows transparent odds before you commit. Luck upgrades improve outcomes, and the displayed pity counter guarantees an Epic within its stated number of opens. An Epic hatch resets that counter. Treat pity as a long-run safety net rather than a reason to ignore stronger nest tiers.
After hatching, compare the result in the pet and evolution guide. If getting caught is the problem, follow the walls and bosses route.
